When my, now fiancée, Jessica moved in a little over a year ago, she naturally brought her clothes and toiletries and others things she had, but she also brought a very special friend: An old, deaf, little lady named Scout.

Big news! My temporary people, fosters, sat me down on the big ugly couch today and told me something unexpected: They decided to hire me as their Dog of the House!

I had a dream this week. An extremely vivid dream. Very rare for me to remember my dreams and so let me write it down! Here it goes:

It's that time of year again, my personal favorite: Fall! In one week's time from the posting of this blog, it will be Halloween, one of my favorite holidays (behind Valentines Day)

In part 1, I told you that I had a turtle named Sandy and how I came to have her. In this post, I will write a little about caring for the beast and my current enclosure I have for her.

It was December 2013 and it happened: The first iteration of the Digital Bolex, the D16, went on pre-sale. This was a camera that started with a Kickstarter campaign, of all things, that had finally, finally come to fruition. Now when the Kickstarter started, I didn't have the money to shell out, so the Pre-Order was the next best thing. Part of the way into 2014, I had my camera (Number 107) and before I even tried to turn it on, I knew this thing was a great purchase. It felt great in my hand with its molded pistol grip and dense, well-made body. Just solid. Feels like it could take a beating.

Here's something unique about me: I own a red-eared slider (or Trachemys scripta elegans). It resides in my room at my apartment and perhaps I'll invite you over so you can see it someday . . .
